Dermotherapy with micro-needle fractional pen applications
These applications are known as “microneedling”. It is an automatic fractional micro-needling system.
After micro-needling treatmenti cosmetic products get absorbed 200 times more than usual. Treatment stimulates collagen, elastin, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid and provides an anti-aging effect.
Treatment areas fractional micro-needling
- Skin tghtening and regenerating
- Wrinkle treatment
- Skin spot treatment Melasma and pigmentation disorders)
- Acne and scar treatment
- Large pore treatment
- Hair loss treatment
The needle depth can be adjusted between 0.5mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm and 2.5mm, which is much deeper than other needle devices. This procedure only requires a topical anesthesia (30 minutes before the treatment). During this treatment, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin.
Mild redness and swelling may occur a few hours. Cosmetic products are applied as PRP, stem cell sera or other agents after the treatment.
After fractional micro-needling treatments:
A common side effect of the micro needling is skin redness. Moisturisers and broad spectrum sunscreens are highly recommended during this recovery phase. It is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 7-15 days intervals. For maintenance treatment, it is recommended to receive 1 session at 3-6 months intervals.
Advantages of fractional micro-needling compared to roller fractional micro-needling systems:
- Easy to manoeuvre around facial contour
- 90 degree angle has the advantage of preventing the needle from penetrating the skin and controlling the depth.
- Adjustable needling depth
- Short treatment duration
